Phantom Blade Zero 66 Days unlocks after you clear the game. The official deep-dive video describes it as Hellwalker intensity: each defeat costs time, and zero is permanent death.
GamingBolt, writing on 18 August 2026, says the mode opens after a Pathbreaker clear, suggests finishing Hellwalker first, and says the run ends when the counter hits zero. Push Square, writing on 11 September 2026, says it opens after one clear, uses a separate save, has no manual save, and restarts after 66 deaths. Both death wordings stay on this page.
The platinum trophy does not require 66 Days. It can be earned on Wayfarer. 66 Days is one of the four settings on difficulty settings.
